Irwine G. Clare - Sr.Director

Irwine is the founder and executive Director ofTeam Jamaica Bickle (one of Awesome Power’s biggest sponsors), which for the past several years has worked with community organizations and businesses to host athletes from Jamaica and the Caribbean who participate at the annual Penn Relays. In addition, Irwine serves as a consultant to the Jamaica-based Victoria Mutual Building Society, advisor to the Union of Jamaica Alumni Association & a member of several local and national organizations. Currently he serves as a moderator for Air Jamaica’s Community Town Hall Forums throughout the northeast United States. In the past, he has also served as president of the Jamaica Progressive League, vice president of the National Association of Jamaican & Supportive Organizations, & the Union of Jamaican Alumni Associations and special adviser to the Van Plan Industry among others. He is a member of the Association of Caribbean Elected Officials & Community Leaders.

 

Kevin Richards - Director

As a professional chemist working in the pharmaceutical Industry for 15 years, Kevin brings some Organizational skills to the table and the development of Awesome Powers TC. As a youth, Kevin attended Wolmer’s Boys HS and Ardenne HS in Jamaica. He is also a graduate of CAST (presently UTECH) and FIU (Miami, FL) In the past, Kevin has coached Junior League Soccer in Queens and Long Island. Kevin Richards has been a member of Team Jamaica Bickle (Penn Relays affiliated) for the last 9 years and is a huge fan of track and field.

Dalton Evans – Sr. Advisor

Coach Evans enters his ninth year of success as the Head coach of Pratt Institute Men and Women's cross-country and Track and field teams.
He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he was awarded a four-year track scholarship, and compliments the Awesome Power Family with over 30 years experience as a runner and coach. Coach Evans has a great deal of international coaching experience, as he has coached the Jamaican national team in the 2002 at world junior championships (at both the junior and senior level), the (CAC) Central American and Caribbean games, the Pam Am Games and Nacca championships
 He has represented Jamaica in France, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Australia and Santo Domingo. He is involved with the New York City Marathon and the Footlocker Cross Country Championships and is also a member of the Jamaica Amateur Athletic Association (JAAA).
